The Didsbury Fun Run

The ‘Didsbury Fun Run’ was organised by members of Didsbury Baptist Church. The aim of the Run is to raise money for the church’s building project and also for our partner charity for this year: Rainbow Family Trust.

This year's event was muddy but the weather was fine. We had over a hundred participants, including many children on the 1.5k route. There was a prize for the best fancy dress costume.

Photographs are available on this site if you would like to see yourself or a friend reaching the finish line. Please note that the camera started at "10am", so you can work out your time to the nearest minute! There are a lot more photos still to be added.

Next year's Didsbury Fun Run is not yet confirmed. A sketch map of the route is available and as you will see, the Run passes through some attractive countryside, along the river bank and part-way along the Trans-Pennine Trail.
